| From the introduction, the five teens started the game spelling B-E-A-R-S
left-to-right as seen from the visitors side of the court but ended up the
game all mixed-up, with no girl in the same seat where she started. By
clue 4, Cher ended up between Alicia and the Palmer girl; while by clue 6,
Dina ended up between the Quinn girl and the teen who wore the B sweatshirt.
If Cher and Dina had ended up next to each other, Dina would have to be
the Palmer girl--no (clue 1). Therefore, Cher and Dina ended up in the 2nd
and 4th seats or vice versa. By clue 2, Erin ended up two seats to the right
of where she started. Erin either wore the B and ended up between Cher and
Dina, or Erin wore the A and ended up in the rightmost seat. If Erin had
worn the A and ended up in the rightmost seat with Cher to her immediate
left in the 4th seat and Dina in the 2nd, Erin would be Palmer and Alicia
would have ended up in the middle of the five (4). Then Brooke would have
ended up in the leftmost seat--impossible since Brooke moved one seat to the
right during the game (7). If Erin had worn the A and ended up in the
rightmost seat with Dina to her immediate left in the 4th seat and Cher in
the 2nd, Erin would be the Quinn girl (6); and the girl who wore the B would
have ended up in the middle seat after moving two seats to the right. She
wouldn't be Brooke, who moved one seat to the right (7). Then Brooke would
have ended up in the leftmost seat--impossible since Brooke moved one seat
to the right during the game (7). So, Erin's move two seats to the right
ended up in the middle of the five girls, with Erin wearing the big red B
on her sweatshirt. By clue 4, Erin must be the Palmer teen. If Cher had
ended up in the 4th seat rather than the 2nd, Alicia would have ended up
in the rightmost seat. Then Brooke would have ended up in the leftmost
seat--no (7). So, Cher ended up in the 2nd seat and Dina in the 4th.
By clue 4, Alicia ended up in the leftmost position. By elimination,
Brooke ended up in the rightmost seat; she wore the R (7), and Brooke is
the Quinn girl (6). By clue 5, the Rivera girl moved one position
to the left during the game, ending up next to the Trent girl. So, the
Rivera girl is Alicia or Cher. If the Rivera girl were Alicia, she would
have worn the E--no (3). The Rivera girl is Cher, and she wore the A,
with Alicia being the Trent girl (5). Dina is the Stuart teen. Dina
wore the E and Alicia the S (3). In sum, then, the five Bears fans ended
up the game cheering against the swordfish, as seen left-to-right from
the visitors side of the court
