By clue 2, Duck Derby was between the games where Rob and the brother who
took home SpongeBob SquarePants won their prizes; while by clue 5, HotShot
was between the games where Quinn and the Barton boy who chose a stuffed
Nemo won theirs. Either Duck Derby and HotShot were in adjacent tents or
were separated with one other game tent between them. If Duck Derby and
HotShot were separated with one other game between them on the midway,
by clue 2, either Rob or the brother who went home with SpongeBob SquarePants
won at the game between Duck Derby and HotShot. If Rob had won at the game
between Duck Derby and HotShot, Rob's prize would have been a stuffed Nemo
(clue 5), with the brother picking SpongeBob SquarePants in clue 2 winning
at the game in the end tent next to Duck Derby and Quinn in clue 5 winning at the game
in the end tent next to HotShot. Since Shrek wasn't Quinn's prize pick (7),
by clue 9, Shrek would have been won by one brother at Duck Derby--but given
clue 3, there would be no way for the game where a brother won Wile E. Coyote
to fit into this arrangement. If SpongeBob SquarePants had been won at the
game between Duck Derby and HotShot, Quinn would have been the one who took
home SpongeBob SquarePants (clue 5), with Rob in clue 2 winning at the game
in the end tent next to Duck Derby and Nemo in clue 5 having been won at the game in
the end tent next to HotShot. By clues 5 and 9, Will would have won at
Duck Derby; and Shrek would have been Rob's prize pick. Wile E. Coyote
would have been Will's choice (3), and Bart Simpson would have been won by
the Barton boy playing HotShot. However, the winner of a stuffed
Bart Simpson would have been Troy or Sean, a conflict with clue 4. So,
Duck Derby and HotShot weren't separated on the midway by another tent and
were in adjacent tents. By clue 2, then, either Rob or the brother who took
home SpongeBob SquarePants won at HotShot. If Rob had won at HotShot, the
boy who selected a stuffed SpongeBob SquarePants would have won at the game
in the other tent adjacent to Duck Derby. By clue 5, then, either Quinn or
the boy who won a stuffed Nemo would have won his prize playing Duck Derby.
If Quinn had won at Duck Derby, the brother who chose Nemo would have won
at the game in the other tent next to HotShot. Will's prize wasn't Nemo (5).
Will couldn't have won at a game in a tent outside of those where
SpongeBob SquarePants and Nemo were won or by clue 9 Shrek would have been
won at a sixth game booth to the five already found. Will would have been
won SpongeBob SquarePants with the brother picking Shrek winning at the game
in the tent next to the one where Will won on the other side from Duck Derby
(7). However, given clue 3, there would be no way for the game where
Wile E. Coyote was won to fit into this arrangement. If Nemo had been won
at Duck Derby, Quinn would have won at the game in the other tent next to
HotShot. Will's prize pick wasn't Nemo (5) and Quinn's wasn't Shrek (7).
Will couldn't have won at a game in a tent outside of those where the boy
who chose SpongeBob SquarePants and Quinn won playing games or by clue 9
Shrek would have been won at a sixth game. Will would have been the winner
of SpongeBob SquarePants's with Shrek being won at the game in the tent next
to where Will won on the other side from Duck Derby (7). However, again given
clue 3, there would be no way for the game where Wile E. Coyote was won to
fit into the arrangement. So, in clue 2, Rob didn't win playing HotShot;
the brother who took home SpongeBob SquarePants did, with Rob winning at
the game in the other tent next to the one where Duck Derby was. By clue 5,
then, either Quinn or the Barton boy who took home Nemo would have won
playing Duck Derby. If the brother who picked a stuffed Nemo had won at
Duck Derby, Quinn would have won at the game in the other tent next to
HotShot. Will's prize pick wasn't Nemo (5) and Quinn's wasn't Shrek (7).
Will couldn't have won at a game in the tent outside of the one where
Quinn won playing a game or by clue 9 Shrek would have won at a sixth game.
Will would have won at the game next to the one where Rob won Shrek. A plush
Wile E. Coyote would have been Will's and a stuffed Bart Simpson would have
been Quinn's prize (3). However, there is then no way for clue 8 to work.
So, the game where Nemo was won in clue 5 wasn't Duck Derby; Quinn won at
Duck Derby, with the boy who took home Nemo winning at the game in the other
tent next to HotShot. Will's plush prize wasn't Nemo (5) and Quinn's wasn't
Shrek (7). Will couldn't have won at a game in the tent outside of the one
where Nemo was won or by clue 9 Shrek would have been won at a sixth game.
Will won at the game next to the one where Rob won Shrek. Wile E. Coyote
was Will's and Bart Simpson was Quinn's take-home prize (3). By clue 8,
Rob won Shrek playing 3-Point Line. By clue 6, Sean won SpongeBob SquarePants
and Troy won a stuffed Nemo playing Skitterball. Will won his Wile E. Coyote
playing Whack-a-Weasel, which by clue 1 was in the leftmost tent. In order
left-to-right as seen from the midway the games were Whack-a-Weasel,
3-Point Line, Duck Derby, HotShot, and Skitterball. In sum, then, the five
boys won prizes at games left-to-right as follows:
- Whack-a-Weasel, Will won Wile E. Coyote
- 3-Point Line, Rob won Shrek
- Duck Derby, Quinn won Bart Simpson
- HotShot, Sean won SpongeBob SquarePants
- Skitterball, Troy won Nemo
